Hey all!
I am very sad to say that this will be my final post on onanimation.com. It really has been an experience, being a part of the blog with all the amazing contributors, I will really miss it.
As you may recall, my first post was the disney drawing portfolio notes. I asked Dan, editor of the blog, if he wished to upload the notes, by which he counter-offered a place in the team of contributors. So what better way to start with a bang, than to go out with a bang..!!
Daniel Jeannette talks in great detail about gesture, graphics and the importance of line, whilst exampling the great works of Milt Kahl and other such nine old men of the golden eras. These videos are a must watch for any artist or animator (not just for the pencil holders)! There are 5 parts to this video. I will try to upload them as quickly as I can, so keep an eye out on this space!
