} | Book Sale |
Like I said earlier this week, I’ve been selling some of my library to cut down on the ridiculous size of it. Some people expressed an interest in buying some of my books, so I made a page with a first run I’m trying to sell. I figure I might as well sell them to someone that follows the blog rather than a complete stranger. These books appear on ebay and craigslist periodically, so you aren’t the only ones looking at them. Stop by the Book Sale page to see you if I have something you want.

Hi Dan, you mentioned in your previous post there are are a few book that you won’t be letting go of. Which are these? I’m curious which books are considered valuable information-wise to you in case there are some I do not have and that are still available for a reasonable price.
Cheers

Thanks a lot for that list Dan. I do have a lot of them, but there are few I would very much like to get. I’m looking forward to the reprint of composing pictures. I have the digital version you shared a while ago, but I’d gladly pay for a paper copy.
I’d be interested to know if the modern versions of the Famous Artists Course are as good as the old ones. Logically they should be even better, but I know that’s not always the way when it comes to art instruction.

Well you have to look at who is teaching the FAC now as compared to back then. I doubt it’s better now than it was. Did you download my PDFs before they were removed? They are still out there on other people’s websites.

Yeah I got them from you, thanks a lot for those. Obviously paper copies of books are best, but having things shared digitally is brilliant. I would never have known about how good the course was if it wasn’t for people like you. I actually think FAC should be thanking you for helping to keep their name alive to be honest.
