The Muddy Colors blog is a constant source of inspiration for me, and I believe I’ve posted about it once or twice before. Two recent posts in particular have really hit home in a lot of areas and I wanted to share them with you. Head over and check out the posts linked below and make sure you follow Muddy Colors daily.
Fellow AM student Willie Downs has come up with a fantastic idea to chronicle and eventually publish inspirational correspondence between animators. I think this would make for some incredibly interesting reading as well as historical documentation. Especially if some of the now “vintage” examples could be dug up. Hopefully enough people can spread the word and we can all bare witness to the birth of yet another truly inspirational stop on the blogsphere for artists and animators alike. Good luck Willie!

Check this website out and then go to your nearest dvd rental store or library for those films you havent seen yet. Full of great titles. I recommend anything by Terry Gilliam, Wes Anderson or Chan-wook Park.
