Invention of Love

I was first introduced to cut-out animation with, The Adventures of Prince Achmed, and I personally love the limitations of this style of animation. Much like pantomime removes the dialogue yet adds much more depth in other ways, this style opens up the doors to a sort of clarity and subtlety you don’t see elsewhere. Shushkov has also brought the technique into the 21st century with particle effects, 3d animation, and modern camera moves. Love it!
